Could be back Week 15 Head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday that Hardman (abdomen) could return from injured reserve for the Chiefs' Week 15 game in Houston, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star reports.

Impact Reid noted that Hardman has resumed running and is "doing well" in his recovery from the abdominal injury, leaving the Chiefs optimistic that the receiver might be ready to go when he's first eligible to come off IR in Week 15. Once Hardman is back in the mix, he may have to compete with Kadarius Toney (hamstring) for a regular spot alongside JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling in three-receiver sets. Toney has showed some intriguing playmaking skills in his first three games with the Chiefs, but the hamstring injury has kept him off the field for the past two contests and has perhaps stalled some of momentum he may have had in surpassing Hardman on the depth chart.

Downplays foot bruise Mahomes relayed Wednesday that he suffered a bruised foot on his final snap of Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Bengals, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.

Impact That said, Mahomes indicated that he feels fine, adding that the bruised foot shouldn't bother him as this weekend's game against the Broncos approaches. Wednesday's injury report will clarify whether Mahomes' practice participation will be affected at all by the injury, but at this stage, there's nothing to suggest that his Week 14 availability is in any danger.

Impact Sneed continued to post consistent production as the Chiefs struggled to come away with stops against the Bengals' offense. The cornerback has recorded at least five tackles in every game this season, and he now ranks second on the team in tackles (82) behind prolific linebacker Nick Bolton (122). Sneed also leads Kansas City with eight passes defended. He'll look to continue making an impact all over the field against Denver's stagnant offense Week 14.
