Impact Toney left in the first half and was subsequently ruled out. He has an extensive history of hamstring injuries over the course of his brief NFL career, so it wouldn't be surprising if Toney's latest injury winds up sidelining him in Week 12 against the Rams and possibly beyond.

Impact Thornhill recorded three tackles (one solo) in the first half of Sunday's matchup but was ruled out shortly after halftime. Deon Bush will likely see increased work for Kansas City down the stretch, while it's not yet clear whether Thornhill will be available for next Sunday's game against the Rams.

Sidelined by ankle injury Edwards-Helaire (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Impact Edwards-Helaire had two carries for nine yards before getting hurt. He was ruled out at halftime. Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon will continue to split snaps in a Chiefs backfield that had largely phased out Edwards-Helaire prior to the injury.

Impact Toney has been plagued by injuries since the Giants selected him in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and his hamstring has been a frequent cause of concern. The Chiefs traded for Toney in hopes that he could find the health and consistency that eluded him in New York, but Toney made it through only two games unscathed before getting banged up in his third appearance for Kansas City. He didn't catch his only target against the Chargers prior to the injury.

Impact With JuJu Smith-Schuster ruled out with a concussion and Mecole Hardman (abdomen/illness) having been placed on IR, Valdes-Scantling is in line to handle plenty of snaps Sunday, while Kadarius Toney, Justin Watson and Skyy Moore are also candidates to see added opportunities in Week 11. Through nine games, Valdes-Scantling has caught 26 of his 43 targets for 441 yards and a TD, and with both Smith-Schuster and Hardman sidelined this weekend, the 6-foot-4, 206-pounder should see enough volume in Kansas City's passing game to merit fantasy consideration against Los Angeles.
