Nick Chubb has yet to practice this week due to a calf injury, and if he's unavailable this weekend Hunt is poised to operate as Cleveland's No. 1 tailback versus Arizona, assuming he's available himself.

Hunt may be further along in his recovery from his respective injuries than Chubb, however, as Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer notes that Hunt was taking part in elliptical work under the supervision of trainers Thursday, while Chubb wasn't present at the facility at all. A resolution on the statuses of both players should come following Friday's practice, but if both Chubb and Hunt aren't able to play or handle their normal workloads Sunday against the Cardinals, Demetric Felton and D'Ernest Johnson would be the next men up out of the Browns' backfield.

Impact Along with Hunt, fellow running back Nick Chubb (calf) will also sit out the session. The Browns haven't indicated whether either player's status is in peril for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, so it's conceivable that both Hunt and Chubb are receiving some extra maintenance on the heels of a 47-42 loss to the Chargers in Week 5.
