Impact In his 26th and potentially final game for the Giants, Golladay finally got into the end zone for his first TD with the team, catching a 25-yard toss from Davis Webb late in the fourth quarter during a game in which New York was resting most of its starters. Golladay suited up for 12 games this season and finished with a 6-81-1 line on 17 targets, disastrous production relative to his cap hit of over $21 million. The 29-year-old has two more years remaining on his current deal, but it seems almost certain the Giants will cut him loose in the offseason.

Impact Golladay logged only 11 offensive snaps in the contest, significantly less than the amount tallied by fellow wideouts Richie James (58), Isaiah Hodgins (57) and Darius Slayton (53). It may be hard to remember that Golladay was slated to be New York's top wideout coming into the campaign, as he hasn't come close to matching the 44 offensive snaps he logged Week 1 against Tennessee. In fact, Golladay has only two catches since the season opener, both of which came Week 11 against Detroit. He's nowhere near the fantasy radar at this point.

Impact Golladay sat out this past Sunday versus the Commanders due to an illness that he came down with one day prior. Now that he's operating on all cylinders again on the practice field, though, he's good to go moving forward. Still, Golladay is no better than fourth in the wide receiver pecking order for the Giants, with all of Darius Slayton, Isaiah Hodgins and Richie James (knee) better bets to connect with quarterback Daniel Jones on game days.

While there was a belief he'd be able to play, he felt worse when he woke up Sunday morning and now won't be available to the team's offense, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. With Golladay out, Darius Slayton (illness), Richie James (knee), Isaiah Hodgins, Marcus Johnson and David Sills are the active wide receivers for New York this week.

Expected to play Golladay (illness), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Commanders, is expected to be healthy enough to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact Darius Slayton (illness) is also expected to play, according to Rapoport, so Golladay may not see an increased role, although the status of fellow wideout Richie James (knee) remains uncertain. Even with New York's receiving corps becoming more and more depleted as the season has rolled along, Golladay has yet to carve out a sizable role. While suiting up in each of the Giants' last three games, Golladay has played between 31 and 43 percent of the snaps on offense while hauling in two of four targets for 29 yards over that span.

Impact The Giants are already dangerously thin at wide receiver and the likes of Darius Slayton (illness) and Richie James (knee) being questionable doesn't help matters either. Golladay has drawn just four targets over the last three weeks combined since returning from a multi-week absence due to a hamstring injury, but the veteran receiver has at least been soaking up a decent number of snaps per game. Expect the Giants to provide more information regarding the numerous injuries to their pass catchers before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Impact When Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) was ruled out for the season early in the week, there was some thought that Golladay could be the primary beneficiary among the Giants' wide receivers. Instead, Golladay didn't see a single target for the second time this season and recorded his lowest offensive snap count (18) since Week 2 (not including games he missed due to injury). Behind clear top wideout Darius Slayton, Richie James stepped up with five catches for 41 yards and a touchdown while playing 41 offensive snaps. Meanwhile, Isaiah Hodgins remained involved with three catches for 31 yards on 40 offensive snaps, so it's hard to envision Golladay as any higher than fourth on the wide-receiver depth chart at the moment.
