Strong start to season Moore had two total tackles and a pass defensed while playing on 38 of the defense's 50 snaps in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville.
Impact Moore was used as the nickel back and played well in coverage by allowing receptions on two of three targets for 12 yards with a 74.3 NFL passer rating against, according to Pro Football Focus.

Impact Moore was sidelined for Saturday's scrimmage with the groin issue, but as evidenced by this news, it wasn't a serious concern. The 24-year-old strained his groin in practice Aug. 17, however, but seems to be managing the injury well. Moore is expected to maintain a starting role at corner for the Colts after he racked up 61 tackles (50 solo), 2.5 sacks and two interceptions last campaign.

Impact Moore strained his groin Aug. 17 and hasn't returned to practice. The 24-year-old is locked into a starting role with the Colts after signing a four-year, $33.3 million deal in June of 2019, so he doesn't need to rush back and defend his job. It's worth keeping an eye on his recovery, as Moore will be instrumental to any improvement in a Colts defense that ranked 18th last year in points allowed per game (23.4 points).
