Peyton Barber - Joins Raiders' backfield The Raiders will sign Barber off Washington's practice squad, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports. Impact With Jalen Richard (leg) on IR and slated to miss at least three games to start the coming season, Barber gives the Raiders some needed backfield depth behind Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake. Over the course of 16 games with Washington last season, Barber logged 94 carries for 258 yards and four TDs, en route to recording a career-low 2.7 yards per carry. As long as Jacobs and Drake are available, Barber doesn't have a path to steady touches, but he could see occasional early-down or short-yardage carries behind the team's top duo.
