Non-participant Wednesday Floyd (ankle) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Floyd had the ankle issue first crop up in mid-August, and it's apparently still bothersome after playing 82 percent of the defensive snaps in Week 2. The 29-year-old should be able to play Sunday versus Tampa Bay if he can return to practice in the next couple days.

Impact Coach Sean McVay downplayed the severity of Floyd's injury, per Rodrigue, but said the Rams are still evaluating things. After breaking out with a career-high 10.5 sacks in his inaugural campaign in Los Angeles, Floyd has ingrained himself as a key part of the team's defensive front.
