Sits out Thursday's practice Fournette (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Carmen Vitali of the Buccaneers' official site reports. Impact Coach Bruce Arians relayed to Greg Auman of The Athletic on Wednesday that Fournette is tending to a sore ankle, which hasn't allowed the running back to take any reps so far this week. Fournette will have one more session to do so, but even if he doesn't get on the practice field there hasn't been any indication he's in danger of sitting out Sunday versus the Saints. Friday's injury report should provide some insight into his potential to play this weekend. Elsewhere in the Bucs backfield, Ronald Jones and Ke'Shawn Vaughn are the healthy options on the active roster, Kenjon Barner and Darwin Thompson are candidates to be elevated from the practice squad, and Giovani Bernard landed on IR on Tuesday.
