Impact Even if Fournette's hip injury doesn't prove to be anything worrisome moving forward, his status as the Buccaneers' top back looks to be in question as Tampa Bay heads into a Week 11 bye. Not only did rookie Rachaad White take the first snap out of the backfield Sunday, but he out-touched Fournette before the veteran departed in the fourth quarter. Expect head coach Todd Bowles to provide more clarity on the Buccaneers' backfield plans following Sunday's contest or when the team resumes practicing Week 12 leading up to a Nov. 27 game in Cleveland.

Another modest showing Thursday Fournette rushed nine times for 24 yards and brought in all three targets for 34 yards in the Buccaneers' 27-22 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night.

Impact Fournette couldn't get anything going on the ground for the second straight game, and he's now netted just 43 yards on 17 carries over that pair of contests. The veteran RB did boost his receiving production back up after being held to a season-low seven yards in Week 7, but he's also seen just three targets apiece in two straight games following a four-game stretch with at least six looks in each contest. Fournette's struggles seem to be much more of a product of the offensive line, but he'll still take an uncertain fantasy outlook into a tough Week 9 matchup versus the Rams a week from Sunday.

Fournette was partly frozen out by game script as well as the afternoon went on, and even his usually robust pass-catching role didn't manifest. Fournette's rushing yardage and target totals were both his second lowest of the season, but he'll likely bounce back into a bigger role during a Week 8 interconference showdown versus the Ravens on Thursday night.

Impact Fournette saw another heavy workload in the disappointing loss, and he frequently encountered tough sledding on the ground against a Steelers run defense that limited him to a game-long run of 13 yards. However, the versatile veteran once again made his mark as a receiver, tying Chris Godwin for the team lead in receptions and recording a receiving touchdown for a third straight game via an 11-yard scoring grab with 4:38 remaining. Fournette's unquestioned lead-back role and significant involvement in the passing game will continue to afford him plenty of fantasy appeal heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Panthers.
