Impact Vizcaino didn't attempt a field goal longer than 33 yards, but given the kicking troubles in the past for Los Angeles, any game that's perfect from a kicking perspective is a big one. Vizcaino should be poised for a possible big outing with the Chargers offense taking on a putrid Cowboys defense in Week 2.

Impact Two weeks after reportedly beating out Tyron Johnson for the Chargers' No. 3 wideout role, Palmer saw just 14 offensive snaps compared to Jaylen Guyton's 53. The team could have simply been easing the rookie into his first professional game, but the difference in snaps is jarring given how strong the 2021 third-rounder's training camp supposedly was. Palmer's playing time likely will increase as the season progresses, but for the moment he's safely off the radar, even in deeper fantasy formats.

K.J. Hill Jr. - Quietly accumulates catches Hill caught all three of his targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 20-16 win over Washington.
Impact Hill caught three passes despite playing just seven offensive snaps, ceding the majority of the backup wide receiver snaps to Josh Palmer and Jalen Guyton. The second-year wideout caught seven passes total in all of 2020 so while the low snap count indicates a likely regression in terms of targets, it's nice to see Hill make good with his limited opportunities.

Impact Guyton, not Josh Palmer, was clearly the team's No. 3 wideout behind Keenan Allen and Mike Williams as the speedy wideout was a certifiable threat for quarterback Justin Herbert in the intermediate level. Underutilized as simply a speed decoy in Anthony Lynn's offensive system, Guyton could be poised to actually make good on his large number of snaps on a week-to-week basis.

Impact It took until midway through the third quarter for Jackson to register his first offensive snap as rookie sixth-round pick Larry Rountree clearly emerged as the primary backup to stalwart Austin Ekeler. Impact While the yardage total was nothing to write home about, the fact Rountree outsnapped supposed No. 2 back Justin Jackson by a 28-to-11 margin was certainly consequential, and the rookie ballcarrier even mixed in alongside Austin Ekeler during the many two-back offensive sets Sunday. It appears as if Rountree's excellent training camp has cemented his status as the back to roster should Ekeler go down with an injury.
