Sony Michel - Inefficient in conference title win Michel rushed 10 times for 16 yards and brought in one of two targets for minus-4 yards during the Rams' 20-17 win over the 49ers in their NFC Championship Game matchup Sunday. Impact Michel carried just three times fewer than backfield mate Cam Akers, but he gained 32 less yards as well while averaging just 1.6 per carry. The fourth-year veteran saw a bit of a bump in workload due to Akers' in-game shoulder injury, but the latter was able to return to the contest and appears to be okay moving forward. That likely equates to another relatively modest complementary role for Michel in the Super Bowl LVI matchup against the Bengals on Sunday, Feb. 13, but his prior experience playing for the Lombardi Trophy while with the Patriots potentially could earn him some decent volume in the contest.
