Sony Michel - Staying in lead role for now The Rams plan to keep leaning on Michel down the stretch run of the season, according to NFL.com's Kevin Patra.
Impact That's especially true with Darrell Henderson (knee) landing on IR this week, though Michel had already taken over the lead role after his teammate dealt with a thigh injury and then COVID-19. The Rams are now left with Jake Funk and special teamer Buddy Howell as their backup options, along with Cam Akers (Achilles) whenever he's ready to play (possibly as soon as this Sunday in Baltimore). While Akers could be a bigger part of the offense in the playoffs, he shouldn't take too much work from Michel in his first game back from a severe injury, be it in Week 17, Week 18 or the postseason.

Impact Jefferson had his worst statistical game of the season, though his six targets were tied for the third most of any Rams pass catcher in the contest. The last two weeks were certainly a disappointment for the 25-year-old wideout, after scoring a touchdown in each of the previous three games. In the Rams' high-volume passing attack, there is a chance that Jefferson can get back on track against Baltimore's struggling secondary in Week 17.
