Heading to LA Perez inked a deal with the Chargers on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Impact Perez most recently played in the UFL and finished the year with a league-high 2,309 passing yards and 18 touchdowns on 225 completions. His most recent NFL experience also came in Los Angeles last season, but for the Rams, where he was ultimately cut during last year's training camp. The journeyman went undrafted out of Texas A&M-Commerce in 2018 and has yet to make a roster. With Justin herbert (foot) sidelined for approximately two weeks, head coach Jim Harbaugh has opted to bring some more depth in under center.
