Turning heads in training camp Nabers has impressed during training camp thus far, Charlotte Carroll of The Athletic reports. Impact Nabers immediately moved into the No. 1 receiver role when the Giants drafted him sixth overall in April, and he's so far done nothing to make anyone in the organization question his ability to handle that responsibility. Carroll notes that the 21-year-old has "shown off with highlight reel catches" "in nearly every practice," and offensive coordinator/assistant head coach Mike Kafka stated that the rookie has been "getting better and more comfortable" every day. Most recently, Nabers showed off his talent in a pair of joint practices against the Lions, reeling in 17 of the 18 passes Daniel Jones threw his way, per Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record. It remains to be seen if Nabers will see action in New York's first preseason game Thursday against Detroit, as Brian Daboll hasn't yet revealed his plans for playing starters, according to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News.
