Comes off COVID-19 list The Packers reinstated Taylor (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Impact Green Bay has placed both of its top receivers (Davante Adams and Adam Lazard) on the COVID-19 list in the last two days, but the Packers will at least get one wideout back on the 53-man roster in Taylor, who was placed on the list Oct. 15. He missed the Packers' last two games as a result of being deactivated, but he appears healthy heading into Thursday's game against the Cardinals. With Lazard already ruled out for the Week 8 contest and Adams unlikely to clear all COVID-19 protocols ahead of the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff, Taylor could find himself somewhere between second and fourth on the depth chart at wide receiver behind veteran Randall Cobb. Before landing on the COVID-19 list, Taylor suited up in each of the Packers' first five games, but he saw more snaps on special teams (77) than offense (24). Over his two NFL seasons, Taylor has put together a 7-80-1 receiving line on nine targets.

Placed on COVID-19 list Taylor (illness) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Impact Taylor dealt with an illness that landed him on the injury report, and it now appears that he's in danger of missing Green Bay's Week 6 matchup against the Bears. While it's not yet clear whether the 25-year-old has tested positive for COVID-19, the Packers could have limited depth at wide receiver Sunday since Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) is on IR.

Dealing with illness Taylor landed on the injury report Friday with an illness and is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Bears, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Impact Landing on the injury report this late in the week is not a good sign for Taylor's availability in Week 6. The 25-year-old has played only nine offensive snaps since Week 1, so if he is unavailable it shouldn't have an impact on the Packers' offensive rotations. However, Green Bay is already without Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring), so they may need to add a wideout to the active roster before the showdown with their division rivals.

Draws three looks late in Week 1 Taylor was targeted three times and caught two passes for 14 yards in Sunday's 38-3 loss to the Saints.

Impact The three targets were a career high for Taylor, but they all came in garbage time and after starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers had left the game. Taylor led the league in receiving yards during the preseason, but he's no more than depth at the moment, as his 15 snaps were less than half the number played by the Packers' top three wideouts.

Impact Despite appearing in 15 games for the Packers last season Taylor was not assured a place on this year's roster, but he beat out a number of fellow pass catchers during training camp and came away with the sixth and final spot at his position. Taylor led the Packers with 185 receiving yards during the preseason, but only one of the five players in front of him saw any preseason action, and it's unlikely he will play more than a bit role on offense when the regular season gets underway.

He does not have a roster spot locked up as of yet, but with nine receptions for 116 yards yards through two preseason games, he has put himself in good position to secure one.
