Impact Valdes-Scantling was once again in the highly familiar role of playing clear second fiddle to Davante Adams, but he still managed to reward fantasy managers with a productive showing courtesy of his touchdown grabs of 52 and one yard in the second and third quarter, respectively. The pair of scores were MVS's first visits to the end zone since Week 1, however, and with Allen Lazard (abdomen) projected to return for a Week 10 matchup against the Jaguars in 10 days, the former's fantasy glory may well be short-lived.

Quiet again in Week 8 Valdes-Scantling caught one pass for 19 yards and had one carry for four yards in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.
Impact Valdes-Scantling got a chance to run the ball for the second straight week, but he was again quiet in the passing game despite being on the field for all but 13 of the 75 plays run by the Packers' offense. Valdes-Scantling has ran as the Packers' No. 2 receiver since Allen Lazard (abdomen) landed on injured reserve, but he has not run with the opportunity, totaling just 96 receiving yards and 13 rushing yards in the four games Lazard has missed. Valdes-Scantling could hold onto that spot for another game with the Packers on a short week, but with him producing minimally and likely to lose snaps when Lazard returns in the near future, there is not much reason to be optimistic about Valdes-Scantling's fantasy prospects moving forward.

Impact Valdes-Scantling played by far the second-most snaps among Packers wideouts and was targeted four times, but he ultimately only ended up with the lone touch on the ground. He should continue seeing the field plenty until Allen Lazard (abdomen) returns, and his next matchup will come against a Vikings team he recorded 96 yards and a score against Week 1. However, with just 91 yards from scrimmage over his last four games, it's tough to trust Valdes-Scantling in fantasy lineups right now.

Bottled up by Buccaneers Valdes-Scantling was targeted five times and caught three passes for 32 yards in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
Impact Valdes-Scantling wound up playing the most snaps among Packers receivers Week 6, but he was held in check by a Tampa team that allowed quarterback Aaron Rodgers to complete just 16 passes before coming out of the game. It's encouraging for Valdes-Scantling's fantasy prospects that he played 84 percent of the offensive snaps for the third straight game, but what isn't so promising are his averages of 2.8 receptions and 36.5 yards per contest -- not to mention zero touchdowns -- since his outstanding work Week 1.

Impact Valdes-Scantling spearheaded Green Bay's receiving corps on a night when top options Davante Adams (hamstring) and Allen Lazard (abdomen) were both sidelined. While their absences enabled Valdes-Scantling to garner a season high in targets, it was tight end Robert Tonyan and tailback Jamaal Williams who paced the Packers in yards, as both came close to 100. Although Valdes-Scantling helped move the sticks here and there, his final output wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Nonetheless, his experience Monday should help as he prepares to start alongside Adams once Green Bay returns from its Week 5 bye.
