Out ahead of Sunday's matchup Jones (hamstring) has been downgraded to out and will not play Sunday against the Colts, Mark Long of the Associated Press reports.

Impact It appears as if Jones' late-week injury will ultimately keep him out of the divisional matchup after all. The veteran has fluctuated between critical target hog and complete non entity in recent weeks so it's unclear exactly who benefits with Jones sidelined. Expect Jamal Agnew and possibly Tim Jones to see additional playing time as a result.

Bothered by hamstring injury Jones is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts due to a hamstring injury.

Impact Jones hadn't been included on the Jaguars' Week 6 injury report until he showed up Friday as a limited participant in practice due to the hamstring issue. The extent of the injury isn't yet known, but the Jaguars are hopeful the wideout will make enough progress in the next two days to gain clearance for the Week 6 contest. Fellow receiver Zay Jones (ankle) is also listed as questionable following a limited practice Friday, so the Jaguars could be shorthanded at the position if neither of the Joneses are available Sunday.

Impact Jones continued his recent trend of alternating between strong performances and duds. He landed on the positive side of that variance Sunday to top 70 receiving yards for the third time in his last five games. Jones' performance was highlighted by four receptions that went for double-digit gains while also finding the end zone for the fourth time this season -- and the first time since Week 6 -- on a three-yard catch late in the third quarter.
