Out for Week 2 Coach Sean McDemott said on WGR 550 Radio on Friday that Milano (hamstring) will miss Sunday's game in Miami, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Impact The Bills will have some challenges to overcome against the Dolphins, as fellow starter Tremaine Edmunds has also been ruled out. Expect to see more of A.J. Klein, Tyler Matakevich, Tyrel Dodson and even deep reserve Deon Lacey.

Misses another practice Milano (hamstring) missed his second straight practice Thursday, Sal Capaccio of WGR 550 Radio reports.

Impact Milano's injury looked nasty enough when he left Sunday's game that he's probably going to have to at least work on a limited basis Friday to have a viable chance of suiting up against the Dolphins this week. With fellow starter Tremaine Edmunds also hurting, the Bills have some issues amid their LB corps entering Week 2.

Starts off week with absence Milano, who was forced out of Sunday's opener with a hamstring injury, was unable to practice Wednesday, Jourdon LaBarber of the Bills' official site reports.

Impact Coach Sean McDermott labeled the starting linebacker as day-to-day Monday, though it's obvious Milano will have to get some work in Thursday or Friday in order to have a viable shot at playing Sunday in Miami. The Bills could have issues at linebacker with fellow starter Tremaine Edmunds also banged up with a shoulder injury.

Impact Milano couldn't finish the season opener against the Jets because of the hamstring injury. McDermott lumped Milano and Tremaine Edmunds (shoulder) together in the day-to-day category, but Milano's soft-tissue injury is a bit more concerning. We should know more when the Bills release their Wednesday practice report, but at this time, the team could be surveying their practice squad depth with just three linebackers currently healthy.

Impact Milano did haul in an interception and post four tackles before the injury, so it's not a wasted IDP day for him by any means. However, linebacker is the one position the talented Bills don't run real deep, so his status for next week's game against Miami will loom as an important one for the team.
