Big gain on lone target Hardman caught his only target for a 53-yard gain Sunday against the Bengals.
Impact Hardman saw just 18 offensive snaps in the contest, his third-lowest total of the 2021 season. He did make the most of his one look as a receiver, but his dwindling playing time doesn't bode well for his fantasy prospects moving forward. The third-year wideout hasn't really made the leap many were hoping for and doesn't appear to be headed in a direction toward doing that anytime soon.

Impact After a couple of down weeks in his offensive involvement, Hardman has seen his usage spike again in the last couple of weeks, seeing a combined nine targets. He's also been looked to in the red zone three times in the last pair of weeks, which is a good sign after he went without a look in that area in the two games prior. Even so, Hardman remains off the fantasy radar in most leagues with just 50 catches for 537 yards and a pair of scores on the season.

Impact Hardman did see his snap percentage jump slightly to 44 on the week after playing just 37 percent of snaps the week prior, though game script likely comes into play in that regard. Hardman did break open in the end zone on what could have been a fourth-down touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes, but Mahomes' pass fell short, preventing Hardman from reaching pay dirt for just the second time this season. He doesn't seem to have much fantasy value for the moment aside from the hope he can control a larger role in the future.

Impact Hardman did at least see a slight increase in his usage on offense (37 percent of snaps) compared to the last two games (17 percent each), and the third-year wideout made the most of his pair of looks, making grabs of 44 and 15 yards. If Hardman continues to produce on offense and eventually improves as a blocker, he could become a viable fantasy option again at some point. However, that point isn't the present, and he can be left on waiver wires in most leagues.
