The two-time Pro Bowl back has now been held under 50 rushing yards in three straight games heading into a Week 11 matchup against a Dolphins defense that contained Chargers backs to 3.6 yards per attempt during a Week 10 win.

Court date pushed back Gordon's court date for his Oct. 13 arrest on DUI and speeding charges has been moved from Friday to Dec. 14 at the request of his attorney, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Impact Based on the recent NFL precedent for players who have faced similar charges, Gordon is likely to face a three-game suspension, but the league isn't expected to levy punishment on the running back until the legal process is resolved. With that in mind, it's possible that any potential suspension Gordon might face relating to his arrest may not have to be served until 2021. As Klis notes, the Broncos will have three games left on the schedule following Gordon's Dec. 14 court date.

Quiet day in Atlanta Gordon logged 18 rushing yards on six carries, adding one reception for nine yards during Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Falcons.
Impact After racking up 281 rushing yards and four total TDs over the first quarter of the regular season, Gordon has been inconsistent since his return from an illness that beset him in mid-October. In three appearances since his two-game absence, Gordon has averaged just 3.6 yards per carry with one total touchdown and fewer than 12 receiving yards in two of the three outings. He'll split RB duties with Phillip Lindsay again in Week 10, but this time it will be a more favorable matchup taking on Las Vegas' No. 15 rush defense.

Impact The stat line looks unimpressive, but Gordon came through for the Broncos in the passing game Sunday. If not for Gordon's juggling third-down conversion in the closing seconds of the game, the Broncos might not have been in position to pull off the comeback against Gordon's old team. The veteran back's ability in the passing game is a factor in why he's getting the lion's share of the touches for Denver, but don't be surprised if the coaching staff looks to give Phillip Lindsay a few more carries in the coming weeks. Lindsay is averaging 6.4 yards per carry this season compared to Gordon's 4.2. They'll both have their hands full Sunday against a solid Atlanta run defense.

Impact Gordon was forced to sit out last week's win over New England with a case of strep throat, but he was thrust right back into a No. 1 role as Phillip Lindsay exited partway through Sunday's defeat due to a concussion. Lindsay slashed his way to 8.8 yards per carry on nine attempts prior to his departure, while Gordon rushed to a less efficient 4.0 yards-per-rush average, scoring one of Denver's two TDs on the ground. If Lindsay sits out Week 8, Gordon would be in line for a bellcow-like workload against the Chargers.
