Impact Miami continues to bring Phillips on slowly as he recovers from an Achilles tear he sustained last November. Barring any setbacks, the 2021 first-round pick should suit up for Sunday's game against Seattle, though he could remain on a snap count. Phillips has tallied two tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks, over the first two games of the regular season.

Mostert didn't practice leading up to Miami's Sept. 12 loss to the Bills, but with the added time afforded by the team's short Week 2, he's been seeing a daily uptick in progress according to coach Mike McDaniel, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports, offering hope that his absence from the Dolphins' backfield might last just one contest.

Impact DuBose has appeared on the Dolphins' first injury report of the week with a shoulder issue. He'll have two more chances to increase his practice participation leading up to Sunday's game against the Seahawks. DuBose played 26 snaps on offense and caught one pass on three targets for 13 yards in Miami's Week 2 loss to Buffalo.

Impact Washington was unable to play the first two games of the regular season due to a quadriceps injury he sustained in early September. He missed all three practices leading up to Week 2 against the Bills, but the rookie sixth-round pick returned to the field Wednesday. If Washington can continue to make progress this week, then he could make his NFL debut Sunday against the Seahawks and see some work as a depth wide receiver behind Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Braxton Berrios.

At the very least, the Dolphins aren't planning on Tagovailoa being available for the Week 3 game, so Thompson will step in for his first start since 2022. Thompson has made eight regular-season appearances overall through his first three years in the NFL, completing 68 of 119 pass attempts (57.1 percent) for 614 yards (5.2 YPA), one touchdown and three interceptions while adding 25 yards on 15 carries. Given the poor efficiency he's displayed as a passer thus far in his career in addition to the likelihood that the Dolphins deploy a run-heavy game plan Week 3, Thompson looks to be a low-end lineup option in fantasy leagues that start two quarterbacks or have a superflex spot.
