Myles Gaskin - Only four touches Gaskin rushed three times for 10 yards and caught one of three targets for six yards in Monday night's 20-3 win over the Saints.
Impact Gaskin saw his workload decrease for a second straight week, as last game's breakout saw Duke Johnson earn a large role alongside Phillip Lindsay, who returned from injury to play for the first time since Week 12. Although Johnson and Lindsay tied for Miami's team lead with 13 carries apiece, neither tailback topped 40 yards. As a result, it'll be interesting to see how the Dolphins divide their backfield snaps in Week 17 versus the Titans, but considering his dip in usage the past couple games, Gaskin may have to earn back his starter's share while being subjected to a committee approach.

Impact Gesicki trailed only Jaylen Waddle for Miami's team lead in receptions, but his production paled in comparison to the rookie's 10 grabs for 92 yards and a score. In a vertically-challenged passing attack, Gesicki represents a big-bodied target for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, but he's topped 50 yards just once and hasn't scored over the Dolphins' current seven-game win streak. That illustrates Gesicki's modest upside, but his 47 targets over that same span give him a secure floor.

Phillip Lindsay - Makes return to backfield Lindsay rushed 13 times for 36 yards in Monday night's 20-3 win over the Saints.
Impact Lindsay made his first appearance since Week 12 and matched Duke Johnson for Miami's team lead in carries. Although neither tailback found much room to run versus a tough Saints front seven, Lindsay only managed three yards fewer than Johnson, who exploded for over 120 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns last weekend. Despite competing with Myles Gaskin for snaps as well, Lindsay's immediate involvement in his return is an encouraging sign for his usage ahead of Week 17's matchup versus the Titans, even if the Dolphins still rely on a committee approach barring one of their tailbacks emerging as the hot hand.

Duke Johnson - Tops team in rushing Johnson rushed 13 times for 39 yards in Monday night's 20-3 win over the Saints.
Impact Johnson didn't approach his production from last week's 107-yard, two-touchdown outburst, but he still led the Dolphins in rushing against a stout Saints front seven. That being said, Phillip Lindsay matched his 13 carries and managed just three fewer rushing yards, working in tandem with Johnson in his first appearance since Week 12. With Myles Gaskin around as well, it'll be interesting to see how Miami divides its backfield snaps in Week 17 versus the Titans, but Johnson's role the past couple contests suggests he'll at least get the chance to establish himself.

Tua Tagovailoa - Engineers another win Tagovailoa completed 19 of 26 passes for 198 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Monday night's 20-3 win over the Saints.
Impact Tagovailoa again relied heavily on wideout Jaylen Waddle's ability to create separation on underneath routes to move the ball. When he did take a shot downfield in the second half, Tagovailoa was intercepted on an overthrow. In fairness, though, the signal-caller responded with an impressive 40-yard pass to extend his subsequent drive, followed by a long completion to Waddle on a flea flicker the next play. Appropriately, Tagovailoa then capped that series with a one-yard touchdown to Waddle, giving the Dolphins a comfortable lead on the way to their seventh straight win. Although vertically challenged for the most part in the passing attack, Tagovailoa's efficiency on short passes, particularly to Waddle, has been a successful formula that he'll strive to utilize again in Week 17 versus the Titans.

Impact Waddle was the engine to Miami's offense, moving the sticks by getting free on a variety of underneath routes. His after-the-catch ability once again offered a consistent outlet for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, including on his one-yard touchdown from a misdirection push pass in the second half. Prior to that score, however, Tagovailoa found Waddle downfield on a flea flicker, significantly improving his average with a 24-yard gain. After missing last week's game while on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Waddle immediately picked up where he left off, turning in his third straight performance with at least nine receptions for 90 yards. As the Dolphins continue to fight for a playoff spot, expect the dynamic rookie wideout to remain highly involved to close the campaign.
