Inks deal with Carolina Simon signed with the Panthers on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Impact Simon entered the 2020 NFL Draft but never caught on with a team after he went undrafted. He's taking a second shot at it, and reportedly made an impression with his 4.34-second 40-yard dash at the BYU pro day last week. Simon nonetheless faces an uphill battle to earn a roster spot, considering he's an undrafted player who managed only 1,109 receiving yards and seven total touchdowns in three collegiate seasons.
