Impact Wilson was a late-week addition to the Cardinals' practice report Friday as limited due to a hamstring injury. Such a development could have been worrisome for the second-year wide receiver, and indeed he won't be available to the offense Sunday. As a result, more targets have been freed up for the likes of Greg Dortch, Zay Jones, Zach Pascal and Xavier Weaver behind top WR Marvin Harrison.

Questionable for Sunday Wilson is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers after being added to the injury report Friday with a hamstring injury, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

Impact An end-of-week addition to the report isn't promising, and even more so because he's a wide receiver with a hamstring injury in Week 18 for a non-playoff team. It's possible the injury is minor enough that Wilson will play anyway, but the Cardinals may want to hold him back if it's a close call ahead of the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. A Week 18 absence for Wilson would leave more perimeter WR reps for Zay Jones, Zach Pascal and/or Xavier Weaver.

Since Wilson was blanked on one target back in Week 9, he's had modest results the last two contests, combining for five catches (on eight targets) for 78 yards and no touchdowns. He'll remain a regular in Arizona's passing game this coming Sunday in Minnesota.

Impact Wilson played 44 of the Cardinals 57 offensive snaps Monday behind fellow receivers Marvin Harrison (48) and well ahead of Greg Dortch (17), Zay Jones (11) and Zach Pascal (2). Despite his healthy snap share as the No. 2 wideout, the 24-year-old was unable to make much of an impact in Arizona's aerial attack. With the offense struggling to perform consistently from week-to-week, Wilson's fantasy utility continues to be inconsistent, as well. Running with starters Wilson is working with the starting offense early in training camp, ahead of newcomer Zay Jones, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.

Impact The Cardinals signed Jones in May, shortly after taking fellow wideout Marvin Harrison with the third overall draft pick. With Harrison locked in for a starting spot, the other two starting roles presumably will come down to Wilson, Jones and 5-foot-7 slot man Greg Dortch. Wilson was targeted on 14.1 percent of his routes as a rookie -- one of the lowest rates in the league among starting wide receivers -- but he made the most of his limited chances with a 65.5 percent catch rate and 14.9 yards per reception (9.7 YPT). The 2023 third-round pick enters Year 2 as the favorite to start opposite Harrison, and there's always the possibility of some volume growth even if Harrison and TE Trey McBride are runaway favorites to be the team's most heavily targeted players.
