Impact Even with the Giants shutting down top quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) for the season by placing him on injured reserve Monday, Glennon doesn't look like he'll gain any job security as a result. While starting each of the past three games in place of Jones, Glennon has completed only 51 percent of his throws for 4.6 yards per attempt and a 2:5 TD:INT in mostly uncompetitive losses to the Dolphins, Chargers and Cowboys. Three of Glennon's interceptions came in the Week 15 loss to Dallas, prompting his removal late in the fourth quarter in favor of Fromm, who completed six of 12 attempts for 82 yards in garbage time. Though Fromm's performance did little to move the needle, the 23-year-old at least offers more theoretical upside at this stage of his career, so the 4-10 Giants may want to get an extended look at him as the team plays out the string on the season. The 32-year-old Glennon is on an expiring contract and has done little to demonstrate he's worthy of re-signing as a backup option heading into 2022.
