Ruled out Sunday Sanders (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game in Las Vegas.

Impact Sanders opened the game getting five carries on the Eagles' opening eight-play drive that ended in a touchdown. On the team's second possession, though, he got injured on a screen pass and attempted to limp to the sideline before going to the ground. He eventually made it off the field, and after a visit to the sideline tent he was carted to the locker room. With no chance to come back into Sunday's contest, Sanders will finish Week 7 with six rushes for 30 yards and one catch for minus-3 yards. In Sanders' place, Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott will man Philadelphia's backfield.

Another single-digit carry total Sanders carried nine times for 56 yards and secured two of four targets for 10 yards in the Eagles' 28-22 loss to the Buccaneers on Thursday night.

Impact Sanders once again logged a relatively modest amount of touches, failing to see double-digit carries for the third time in the last four games. The 24-year-old did record multiple receptions for the fifth time in six games as well, but as long as his usage remains as capped as it has, Sanders' fantasy managers will be left with significantly less return than they expected for the draft capital that was typically invested in him. The third-year back will hope for better production in a Week 7 road battle against the Raiders a week from Sunday.

Tough sledding Sunday Sanders rushed 11 times for 45 yards and caught all five of his targets for six yards in Sunday's 21-18 win over the Panthers.

Impact Sanders understandably struggled with the Eagles passing 24 times versus handing the ball to tailbacks on just four occasions in the first half. While it took Philadelphia protecting a late lead to balance its play-calling distribution more toward the run, Sanders at least benefitted then, going for 18 yards to begin the game's final possession. Overall, his closing work helped Sanders finally command a healthy workload, but the tailback again found underwhelming yardage on the whole, and Sanders also saw quarterback Jalen Hurts score twice from inside six yards on the ground. With just one game with over 60 scrimmage yards and no touchdowns so far himself, Sanders' stock sits in a disappointing place ahead of a tough Week 6 matchup on Thursday night versus the Buccaneers.

Struggles continue against KC Sanders rushed seven times for 13 yards and caught all three of his targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 42-30 loss to Kansas City.

Impact Sanders failed to get anything going on the ground and was outperformed by rookie Kenneth Gainwell, who compiled 89 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on nine touches. With Gainwell forcing a near-even split in the Eagles' backfield and quarterback Jalen Hurts -- who led the team with 47 rushing yards in this one -- siphoning off rushing opportunities as well, Sanders isn't getting as many touches as most lead backs and hasn't made much of his opportunities. Getting back on track won't be easy for Sanders against the stout Panthers front in Week 5.
