Impact The Vikings didn't utilize a fullback when they fell behind early and were forced to pass the ball. Ham hasn't been a fantasy factor with few touches per game in the past, but his role under new head coach Kevin O'Connell could dry up as the team focuses on the passing game.

K.J. Osborn - Just two targets Monday Osborn had two receptions for 25 yards on two targets in Monday's loss at Philadelphia.
Impact It's not a good sign for Osborn's role in the offense that he was targeted just twice in a game where the Vikings were forced to air it out after falling behind early (Kirk Cousins had 46 passing attempts). Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson had 19 combined targets and Irv Smith had eight targets, so while Osborn was on the field for 47 of the offense's 61 snaps and ran 42 routes, he wasn't really in the game plan. Despite a new head coach in Minnesota, the No. 3 receiver continues to be an afterthought in the offense.

Johnny Mundt - Gets another start at TE Mundt had two receptions for 28 yards on three targets in Monday's loss at Philadelphia.
Impact Mundt started at tight end for a second consecutive game, but Irv Smith had the larger workload with eight targets and more snaps on offense (34 to 28). With Smith being eased into action after thumb surgery, Mundt's role in the passing game should decrease as Smith gets even more opportunities.

Impact Mattison played on 19 of the offense's 61 snaps and wasn't involved much, which isn't surprising given the Vikings were facing a large deficit most of the game. It looks like Mattison will have the same role as prior years with a large workload if Dalvin Cook gets hurt, but a modest one if the latter is healthy.
