Greg Joseph - Perfect in loss Joseph made his lone field-goal attempt and all three extra-point-tries in Saturday's 27-24 overtime loss to the Bengals.
Impact Joseph was successful when called upon, making a 39-yard FGA to push the Vikings' lead to 17-3 as the third quarter was nearing its end. The Florida Atlantic product is now 20-for26 on field-goal attempts this season, which still leaves him with a career-worst 77 percent conversion rate, as he remains just 5-for-11 on attempts greater than 40 yards. Joseph and the Vikings will host the Lions in a key divisional matchup in Week 16 as Minnesota looks to stay in the playoff picture and keep their hopes of winning the division alive.

Nick Mullens - Another start incoming Mullens is expected to draw another start for Minnesota during Sunday's divisional matchup against the Lions, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Mullens moved the Vikings' offense during the team's Week 15 loss to Cincinnati, but he also had two costly turnovers in the 27-24 overtime defeat. In all Mullens completed 26 of 33 pass attempts for 303 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, an overall respectable effort. He faces a more favorable matchup against Detroit in Week 16, so fantasy managers can retain confidence in the prospects of top pass catchers of Justin Jefferson (7-84 vs. Bengals), Jordan Addison (6-111-2) and T.J. Hockenson (6-63).

Justin Jefferson - Suits up Saturday Jefferson (chest) is listed as active for Saturday's game at Cincinnati.
Impact This past Sunday against the Raiders, the Vikings' star wideout was able to return from a seven-game absence due a strained right hamstring, however a chest injury forced Jefferson out of Week 14 action after just 13 snaps on offense. Following a precautionary trip to a hospital in Las Vegas that revealed no serious injury issues, Jefferson was deemed a limited practice participant both Tuesday and Wednesday before being listed as a full participant Thursday, and questionable for Saturday's contest. Now that his availability versus Cincinnati has been confirmed, Jefferson will have an opportunity to work as a key passing target for starting QB Nick Mullens, with Kevin Seifert of ESPN having relayed earlier this week that Jefferson expects to see his usual number of reps Saturday alongside fellow WRs Jordan Addison and K.J. Osborn.

Alexander Mattison - Won't play Saturday Mattison (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game in Cincinnati.
Impact Mattison sustained a sprained right ankle on the Vikings' first offensive play of the second half this past Sunday in Las Vegas. The severity of the issue hasn't been revealed, but he was unable to practice this week and thus will miss his first game of the season. Mattison will yield Minnesota's backfield to Ty Chandler in Week 15 and potentially beyond that point.

Joshua Dobbs - Demoted to No. 3 quarterback Coach Kevin O'Connell announced Thursday that Jaren Hall, not Dobbs, will be Nick Mullens' backup for Saturday's game against the Bengals.
Impact It's been a quick fall from grace for Dobbs after he helped guide Minnesota to back-to-back wins in Weeks 9 and 10 following his acquisition from the Cardinals. The Vikings then dropped two straight before scoring just three points last Sunday in Las Vegas. Dobbs has thrown two touchdowns and five interceptions in those last three games, while also fumbling three times and losing one. O'Connell is giving Dobbs a break, but there's a chance we could see him under center again if Mullens and Hall fail to impress.

Impact Jefferson returned from a seven-game absence this past Sunday in Las Vegas after recovering from a strained right hamstring, only to injure his chest on his 13th offensive snap. A visit to a local hospital was ordered up for further evaluation of the issue, but he was able to travel back to Minnesota with the team and was called day-to-day by coach Kevin O'Connell on Monday, per Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com. While Jefferson operated with a cap on his reps during Week 15 prep, he also told Seifert on Wednesday that he expects to log his typical workload Saturday.
