Out for 4-6 weeks Sweat (jaw) is expected to miss four-to-six weeks, John Keim of ESPN.com reports. Impact The 25-year-old pass rusher suffered a fractured jaw during Washington's Week 8 loss to the Broncos. Prior to that, Sweat played at least 65 percent of defensive snaps in each game this season, recording 19 tackles, 12 QB hits and four sacks in eight appearances. While Washington's defense has obviously taken a big step back compared to last year, Sweat's pass-rushing production looks pretty similar to 2020 (9.0 sacks, 20 QB hits). His absence for the next month-plus could allow James Smith-Williams to make his first career start, but there's also the option of giving DT Jonathan Allen some snaps at end.
