Impact The Dolphins continue to manage Gaskins' reps, which isn't too surprising considering that he spent Weeks 9 through 12 on IR due to a knee injury. Miami has shown a clear desire to utilize Gaskin in a workhorse role as long as he's healthy, and the team doesn't currently have much in the way of backfield depth behind him. As long as he's able to keep practicing in at least a limited capacity, Gaskin figures to be in fair shape to face the Chiefs on Sunday.

Impact Gaskin handled a workhorse role (23 touches) during last Sunday's win over the Bengals, his return from a four-game absence, so it's possible that the Dolphins are simply capping his reps for maintenance purposes. The fact that all of Salvon Ahmed (shoulder), DeAndre Washington (hamstring) and Matt Breida (illness) are dealing with injuries/ailments could also influence Miami to take a cautious approach to Gaskins' health. The second-year pro will look to ramp up his activity as Week 14's matchup against the Chiefs approaches.

Strong all-around effort in win Gaskin (knee) rushed 21 times for 90 yards and secured both targets for 51 yards in the Dolphins' 19-7 win over the Bengals on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

Impact Fresh off a four-game absence and injured-reserve stint due to a knee issue, Gaskin stepped right back into a bell cow role with multiple backfield mates sidelined for the Week 13 contest. Gaskin did find running room surprisingly hard to come by at times against a Bengals defense that had frequently been gashed by running backs, but he ultimately put together a solid fantasy performance courtesy of solid volume and by gaining double-digit yardage on both catches. Gaskin's day could have been even bigger had he been able to convert at least one of the multiple red-zone carries he received throughout the contest, but he'll nevertheless head into a Week 14 showdown against the Chiefs with another strong effort under his belt.
