Won't be activated off IR Harden (shin) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Broncos, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Impact Harden was placed on injured reserve in early September. He was designated to return from IR on Wednesday, and while he was able to log limited practices all week, he hasn't progressed enough in his recovery to take the field Sunday. Harden's next chance to make his NFL regular-season debut will be Week 14 against the Steelers on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Impact Harden was placed on injured reserve shortly after sitting out in Week 1 and has missed the entire season since, but it now appears he could be available some time soon. The Browns will have 21 days to officially activate him before they'd have to put him back on injured reserve for the rest of the year.

Impact Harden will join the list of several Browns defensive players who have been placed on injured reserve. The rookie, who didn't take the field Week 1, likely suffered the injury during practice. How long he could be sidelined is unknown, but his placement on IR guarantees he'll miss at least the next four weeks.
