In concussion protocol The Patriots listed Agholor as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice due to a concussion. Impact Agholor exited in the third quarter of Saturday's loss to the Colts with what the team termed as a head injury, but it wasn't until the release of the team's first Week 16 practice report that it was revealed the wideout had entered the NFL's five-step concussion protocol. He'll now have two more opportunities to potentially fit in some on-field work before the Patriots host the Bills on Sunday, but even if Agholor upgrades to limited or full practice activity by Friday, he'll still need to gain clearance from an independent neurologist in order to play. Along with Agholor, Kendrick Bourne (illness) is also at risk of sitting out Week 16 after testing positive Wednesday for COVID-19, so the Patriots' wideout corps could be more shorthanded than usual.
