Struggles continue in loss to Bills Jones completed 14 of 32 passes for 145 yards and two interceptions in Sunday's 33-21 loss to the Bills. He added 33 yards on six rushing attempts. Impact Jones eclipsed the 19 passing yards he mustered against the Bills earlier this month, but the rookie wasn't much better in this one. He finished the first half just 5-for-13 with 47 yards and an interception, as the Patriots trailed 17-7 heading into the locker room. Damien Harris kept the team in it with three rushing touchdowns, but Jones continued to struggle through the air in the second half, fittingly snuffing out New England's slim comeback hopes with another interception on his final pass of the game. Jones has been a competent game manager most weeks while working in an ideal situation for a rookie quarterback, but he has struggled when called upon to play catch-up rather than nurse a lead. Luckily for Jones, the Patriots are unlikely to fall behind in Week 17 against the 2-13 Jaguars.
