The rookie fifth-round pick won't make his NFL debut in 2021 as he continues to return from a torn ACL in November 2020.

Impact Initially, Jones wasn't listed on the Pats' first Week 15 injury report, only to be added later as limited due to a left thumb issue. But his activity level since has been adjusted to all of it Tuesday. With his health not in question, Jones will continue to prepare uninhibited for Saturday's contest at Indianapolis.

Impact Jones was a late addition to the Patriots' initial practice report of Week 15 prep. Considering he fit in some activity and the issue is to his non-throwing hand, he likely isn't in danger of sitting out Saturday at Indianapolis. Still, Jones' status will be one to watch to ensure that he's available this weekend.

Damien Harris (hamstring) was also limited, so of New England's trio of running backs, Rhamondre Stevenson is currently the only one healthy. Impact Harris' early-week limited session bodes well for his chances of suiting up for Saturday night's showdown with the Colts. He sustained a hamstring injury late in the first half of the Patriots' Week 13 win over Buffalo and managed only one second-half carry before being ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Following the team's bye, things seem to be trending in a positive direction with regard to Harris' potential return to action, but there's still a solid chance he'll end up with a Week 15 injury designation. Either way, Rhamondre Stevenson and Brandon Bolden (knee) also figure to factor into the backfield mix for New England this weekend.

Designated for return Uche (ankle) was designated to return from IR on Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Uche last played in Week 10 against Cleveland and was placed on IR on Nov. 17. The second-year linebacker out of Michigan was playing a rotational role on the Patriots' defense, where he totaled 10 tackles (eight solo), a fumble recovery and three sacks through the first nine games. Now that he's been designated to return, Uche has a 21-day window to be added to the active roster or be forced to miss the remainder of the season.
