It's encouraging to hear that the team doesn't believe Hill's chest injury is overly severe, but an estimated timetable for his return won't be given until after the results of Monday's imaging tests are revealed. If Hill isn't able to play Week 3 versus the Eagles, Foster Moreau and Juwan Johnson will figure to dominate TE reps, while Jamaal Williams will be positioned to handle increased carries behind Alvin Kamara.

Williams has primarily worked in garbage in back-to-back blowout wins to begin the season for the Saints, as Alvin Kamara is still the clear-cut No. 1 running back after logging 20 carries for 115 yards and four touchdowns Sunday. Taysom Hill also tallied three carries before exiting with a chest injury that require further evaluation at a hospital postgame. Should Hill be sidelined moving forward, then Williams could start to see playing time in more significant parts of games. His next opportunity will come at home versus the Eagles on Sunday, Sept. 28.

Olave was more involved in the Saints' passing game that he had been in the team's opener, leading New Orleans in targets Sunday, but he didn't have much to do in the second half after helping build a 35-16 lead heading into intermission. Olave has taken a back seat to Rashid Shaheed so far in 2024, but he could break out against a mostly inexperienced Eagles secondary in Week 3.

Impact The third-year wideout has been Derek Carr's most dangerous downfield weapon to begin the season, and Shaheed's 70-yard TD catch in the first quarter Sunday set the tone for another huge performance by the Saints' offense under new coordinator Klint Kubiak.
