Marshon Lattimore - Inactive Week 2 Lattimore (hand) will not play in Sunday's game against the Panthers, Mike Triplett of ESPN reports.

Impact Lattimore chipped a bone in his thumb last week against the Packers before undergoing surgery Tuesday. While the cornerback was able to get back onto the practice field before week's end, Lattimore ultimately won't be available to play in Sunday's game. His next chance will come in Week 3 against the Patriots.

Impact Miller was cut by the Saints on Monday but landed back with the team's practice squad. He may be needed in an expanded role among the team's secondary and special teams unit in Week 2 against Carolina, particularly if Marshon Lattimore (hand) is sidelined.

Wynton McManis - Signs from practice squad McManis was signed from the practice squad by the Saints on Saturday, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.

Impact McManis spent the entire preseason with the Saints but was ultimately waived from the practice squad Sept. 6. He rejoined the team Sept. 15 as a member of the practice squad, and he'll now join the active roster as depth among the team's outside linebackers.

Impact Davenport was forced from Week 1 action early with a pectoral injury that eventually was revealed to be a strain. Ultimately, he didn't practice this week before New Orleans made the decision to shut him down for at least the next three weeks. Davenport can return as early as Week 5 in Washington, but an ensuing bye week may spur the team to push his return back further. While Davenport is sidelined, Carl Granderson and Tanoh Kpassagnon (calf) will fill in at defensive end opposite Cameron Jordan.
