Lavonte David - Team-leading tackle tallyDavid recorded 11 tackles (seven solo), including one for loss and recovered a fumble during the Buccaneers' 30-27 divisional-round loss to the Rams on Sunday.
ImpactDavid's tackle total paced the Buccaneers on the afternoon, and his recovery of a Cam Akers fumble at the Rams' 30-yard line helped set up Tampa Bay's eventual game-tying touchdown. David's season-ending performance capped off a solid campaign in which the veteran linebacker navigated five absences due to ankle and foot injuries to still post 97 tackles (63 solo), two sacks, three defensed passes, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery across 12 regular-season contests.

Jaelon Darden - Posts 67 return yards before exitDarden, who exited Sunday's divisional-round loss to the Rams in the fourth quarter with a concussion, returned four kickoffs for 62 yards and one punt for five yards prior to his...
ImpactThe Bucs have high hopes for Darden as an eventual downfield threat, but given the depth the team enjoyed at receiver most of the season, 2021 was more about acclimating the North Texas product to the speed of the NFL. That was primarily accomplished through getting Darden consistent work on returns as the season unfolded, and his solid efforts in that capacity helped lead to the eventual cut of fellow wideout/returner Jaydon Mickens. Darden should have more opportunities than the 87 total snaps he logged from scrimmage during his rookie campaign come 2022, particularly if Chris Godwin (knee) and Breshad Perriman (hip) depart via free agency.

Ryan Succop - Closes season with nine pointsSuccop drilled field-goal attempts of 45 and 31 yards, missed wide right on a 48-yard try and connected on all three PATs during the Buccaneers' 30-27 loss to the Rams in their NFC...
ImpactSuccop's miss came early in the second quarter but loomed large later, considering the Buccaneers' final margin of defeat. The veteran otherwise was productive in the season-ending loss and drilled nine of his 10 postseason kicks following a reasonably successful regular season in which he posted the second-highest point tally of his career (131). Succop is under contract for 2022 at a cap hit of $4 million, but if the Tampa Bay offense is helmed by a quarterback other than Tom Brady, the 35-year-old could see his fantasy value take a hit.
