Impact Gates suffered a fractured leg in Week 2, which required multiple surgeries to correct. He was unable to participate in OTAs and it was reported last September by Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York that the injury could be career threatening. Gates will continue to work to get back to full health and return to the field.
