Limited on Week 7 practice report Denver lists Fant as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report due to a foot injury, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Impact Fant feasted in garbage time of Sunday's 34-24 loss to the Raiders, with much of his 9-97-1 stat line on a season-high 11 targets coming in the second half, when the Broncos were forced to lean heavily on the passing game. The tight end looks like he may have hurt his foot at some point along the way, but the fact that he's being listed as limited on the Broncos' first Week 7 injury report suggests he's on a path to play Thursday in Cleveland.

Big game against Vegas Fant caught nine of 11 targets for 97 yards and one touchdown against Las Vegas on Sunday.
Impact The Broncos offense struggled for much of the game, and Fant didn't really get into high gear until the second half, but this box score is elite tight-end production and the level of play Fant might be more regularly capable of if the Broncos keep sending the targets his way. After allowing five sacks and an incredible 17 quarterback hits against Vegas, the Broncos need to do a much better job of managing the pass rush for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, and the imminent return of Jerry Jeudy (ankle) threatens Fant's target share somewhat, but Fant is on the radar as a viable tight-end option nonetheless. Denver heads to Cleveland in Week 7.

Impact Fant played on 97 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps, marking a season high for the veteran tight end. With so many injuries to Denver's pass catchers, Fant has seen his playing time increase week over week. The 23-year-old didn't see his first target in Sunday's game until the fourth quarter despite the Broncos trailing the Steelers for most of the contest. It was an unusual day in the office for Fant, as game flow seemed to favor him being more involved in the passing game. Impact The tight end led Denver in targets and receptions on the afternoon -- in fact, no other Bronco caught more than three passes -- but Fant's longest grab went for only 14 yards. Impact Fant was not a big part of the game plan in Week 3 as the Broncos cruised to victory over the hapless Jets. His three targets were tied for third most on a day when quarterback Teddy Bridgewater threw 25 passes. With wide receiver KJ Hamler going down with a knee injury Sunday, it is likely that the veteran tight end could see a bump in his usage going forward if Hamler is forced to miss time. The Broncos are already without Jerry Jeudy, so Denver's pass-catching group is getting thinner.
