Impact Fant received clearance for the season finale after practicing fully Thursday after he had been listed as a limited participant on the Broncos' initial two Week 18 reports. The tight end is coming off an impressive 6-92-1 receiving performance in the Broncos' Week 17 loss to the Chargers, but he could be in store for a reduction in the seven targets he saw in the previous contest now that starting wideouts Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick have been cleared to play following one-game stints on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Impact Fant was also listed as a limited participant on Tuesday's estimated practice report after presumably picking up the injury while catching six of seven targets for 92 yards and a touchdown during the Week 17 loss to the Chargers. The 24-year-old could avoid an injury designation for Saturday's matchup with the Chiefs if he's able to practice fully Thursday.

Impact While Denver had two of its three starting wideouts in Jerry Jeudy (illness) and Tim Patrick (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Fant took on an expanded role in the passing attack in the team's 34-13 loss to the Chargers in Week 17. Fant finished with six receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown on seven targets, with the yardage total just five off his season-best mark. In the aftermath of the busy game, Fant is apparently banged up, but his listing as a limited participant offers hope that he'll be ready to go by the time Saturday's season finale against the Chiefs arrives.

Impact Fant's underwhelming season continued in Week 16, as the tight end failed to produce much for fantasy purposes. Notably, Fant has not found the end zone since Week 6, the last time the Broncos played the Raiders. The Broncos' passing game has been ineffective for the majority of the season, and it was more of the same with Drew Lock starting under center. Fant and the Broncos will visit the Chargers in Week 17, but the 6-foot-4, 249-pounder will be difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.

Impact Fant led the team with 5 receptions and finished behind only Albert Okwuegbunam in receiving yards. He did the majority of his damage on big plays, highlighted by a 28-yard gain early in the second quarter that came primarily after the catch. Notably, Fant produced with both Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) and Drew Lock under center, so he may be able to carry this strong performance into a Week 16 matchup against Las Vegas regardless of who is under center. In addition, Fant has shown a safe floor of late, recording at least four receptions in four of his last five contests.

Like the rest of Denver's pass catchers, Fant has been underwhelming for several weeks, and the veteran has not scored a touchdown since Week 6. The 6-foot-4, 249-pounder will be hard to trust down the stretch, starting with a Week 15 matchup against the Bengals.
