Impact Zaccheaus had a bounceback with Washington last year, forming a nice pairing with rookie QB Jayden Daniels to the tune of 45 catches for 506 yards and three touchdowns on 64 targets over 20 games between the regular season and playoffs. With veteran WR Keenan Allen hitting free agency this week, Zaccheaus will fill the opening left behind alongside DJ Moore and Rome Odunze while getting to work with another signal-caller from the 2024 class in Caleb Williams.

Impact Zaccheaus was Washington's third or fourth WR for most of the year, and he came on strong at the end of the regular season, with the final three games accounting for 41 percent of his receiving yardage (206) and all three TDs. He had far less success in the playoffs, while teammate Dyami Brown had 229 receiving yards in the three games -- nearly as many as his total from the regular season (308). Both Zaccheaus and Brown are scheduled to become unrestricted free agents this offseason, and the same goes for fellow veterans Noah Brown (kidney), Jamison Crowder and K.J. Osborn. That leaves Terry McLaurin and Luke McCaffrey as the only Washington wideouts under contract for 2025, which could put the team in the market for a major upgrade via free agency and/or the draft. If Zaccheaus returns, he'll likely be somewhere between third and fifth on the depth chart.

In two regular-season appearances against the Eagles this season, Zaccheaus hauled in six of 10 targets for 80 yards and two touchdowns.

Impact Zaccheaus cooled off quite a bit in Week 18 after a string of strong performances in recent weeks. The wideouts two catches counted for his lowest reception total since Week 12. Zaccheaus became an important part of the Commanders' passing attack to close the season, finishing the year with 45 receptions for 506 yards and three touchdowns. With that said, the 27-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason after only one season with Washington. His growing chemistry with quarterback Jayden Daniels could lead the Commanders to offering him another contract this offseason. If not, Zaccheaus will hit the market in 2025 in search of a new landing spot.

Impact Zaccheaus played just under 50 percent of Washington's 78 offensive snaps Sunday while operating as the Commanders' No. 3 wide receiver behind Terry McLaurin and Dyami Brown.
