Impact Jefferson was on the field for 72 percent of the Steelers' offensive snaps Sunday, which ranked first among the team's wide receivers, but he didn't draw many targets from interim starting quarterback Justin Fields as the passing game struggled to get going. Jefferson appeared in 17 games between the Rams and Falcons last year, securing 20 of 43 targets for 209 yards while rushing once for four yards. He appears to be in line to serve as the Steelers' No. 2 option at wide receiver early in 2024, but the team's passing attack may not be proficient enough to make him a reliable fantasy option.

Impact The Steelers' offense struggled to generate much production during Sunday's low-scoring matchup, but Austin was one of three wide receivers to draw at least one target. Austin impressed during offseason activities, but it's unclear whether he'll develop into a fantasy-relevant option in 2024 after securing 17 of 30 targets for 180 yards and a touchdown while appearing in every game last year.

MyCole Pruitt - Held to nine yards in Week 1 Pruitt secured one of two targets for nine yards during Sunday's 18-10 win over the Falcons.
Impact Pruitt was on the field for 59 percent of the Steelers' offensive snaps Sunday, more than fellow reserve tight end Darnell Washington. Pruitt also had one more target than Washington, but both tight ends will likely have limited work in the passing game behind starter Pat Freiermuth this season. Pruitt secured nine of 12 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown while appearing in all 17 games with Atlanta last year, and he'll likely struggle to have a fantasy-relevant role once again in 2024.

Darnell Washington - Minimal production in win Washington secured his lone target for five yards during Sunday's 18-10 win over the Falcons.
Impact Although Washington was on the field for 54 percent of the Steelers' offensive snaps Sunday, he didn't see much work in the passing game. Despite appearing in all 17 games during his rookie season in 2023, he didn't have more than one reception in any outing and could struggle to see many targets once again this year, especially if starting tight end Pat Freiermuth stays healthy.

Cordarrelle Patterson - Tallies four carries in victory Patterson rushed four times for 13 yards during Sunday's 18-10 win over the Falcons.
Impact Patterson was on the field for just nine offensive snaps during Sunday's Week 1 matchup, but he saw ample work when on the field and ultimately had more carries than fellow reserve running back Jaylen Warren. However, it seems likely that Patterson will remain the No. 3 option at running back since Warren was on the field for 21 offensive snaps. Patterson is also in line to serve as the Steelers' top kick returner in 2024.

Pat Freiermuth - Racks up 27 yards in win Freiermuth secured all four of his targets for 27 yards during Sunday's 18-10 win over Atlanta.
Impact Shortly after signing his four-year contract extension with the Steelers on Friday, Freiermuth was involved in the Steelers' Week 1 win, finishing second on the team in receptions and receiving yards. The 25-year-old was an inconsistent contributor during the 2023 campaign, including single-digit yards in three of his first four appearances of the season. However, he could see more targets in 2024 now that Diontae Johnson, Allen Robinson and Miles Boykin are no longer with the team.
