Tashaun Gipson Sr. - Returning to JacksonvilleThe Jaguars are slated to sign Gipson (suspension) to a one-year deal, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.ImpactGipson played with Jacksonville from 2016 to 2018 before bouncing between Houston, Chicago and San Francisco in subsequent campaigns. The veteran safety was a starter for the 49ers last season, and he finished the regular season with 60 tackles (41 solo), including one sack, and one interception over 16 contests. Gipson also logged every defensive snap for San Francisco in each of the team's three playoff games. However, in July he was suspended by the league for six games due to a violation of the NFL's performance enhancing substances policy. Gipson will be able to participate in Jacksonville's exhibition contests, but he won't be eligible to play until the team's seventh regular-season game due to the suspension.
