Suffers ankle injury Jenkins has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Texans after suffering an ankle injury, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.

Impact Jenkins got hurt on kick coverage in the first quarter and was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game. It's unclear how long the injury may hold him out, though he was carted off the field according to John Reid of The Florida Times-Union. Jenkins has also served as the team's full-time strong safety, so his absence will leave Daniel Thomas to fill a more significant role.
