Misses lone field-goal attempt Patterson missed his lone field-goal attempt but made three of three PATs during Sunday's 51-29 loss to Seattle.

Impact Patterson's one chance at avoiding a dud performance fell short of the crossbar on a 55-yard attempt at the end of the first half. The only opportunities he otherwise saw came on extra points, and he was even robbed of one of those when the Lions went for two at point. While Patterson has flexed some interested upside in recent weeks, the Lions offense could remain extra untrustworthy in Week 18 against Green Bay if starting QB Jared Goff (knee) remains sidelined.

Impact The Lions' late-season revival continues to pave the way for surprisingly strong Patterson stat lines. Now having three FGA in three of the past four games while notching at least one PAT in each of them, few kickers have outscored the Memphis product in recent weeks. While it may seem hard to trust a Detroit team that lost or tied each of its first 11 games of the year, the offense seems to have turned a corner with head coach Dan Campbell calling plays, and Patterson could continue to benefit in Week 17 against Seattle.

Big day against Arizona Patterson converted three of three field-goal attempts and three of three PATs during Sunday's 30-12 win over the Cardinals.

Impact A wounded Lions team found an unbelievable amount of success against a Cardinals team that entered the week fourth in scoring defense. Patterson was a direct beneficiary and he did well to convert two kicks from 45 yards out and beyond. However, with Jared Goff (COVID-19) uncertain to play in Week 16 against Atlanta, Detroit may be hard pressed to build on this performance.

Impact With none of D'Andre Swift (shoulder), T.J. Hockenson (hand) or Jamaal Williams (COVID-19) available, the Lions offense had immense trouble moving the ball and Patterson subsequently had minimal opportunities to produce. However, no fantasy managers should have been starting Patterson anyway. That should remain the case in Week 15 against Arizona even if Detroit gets closer to full health.

Impact Detroit found a surprisingly amount of success against a decent Vikings defense en route to the team's first win of the season. Patterson was one of the biggest beneficiaries, and he did well to convert on each of his kicks, the longest of which came from 49 yards out. While Patterson is now locked in as the top kicker in Detroit with Austin Seibert (hip) on injured reserve, it will remain a challenge to bet on the Detroit offense down the stretch. Despite the recent success, Patterson will be a risky fantasy option in Week 14 against Denver.

This means it'll likely be Patterson getting the nod this week, who is already on the active roster. This would be the Memphis products NFL debut.

On Tuesday, Detroit signed Patterson off the practice squad to compete with Santoso, but the latter will be the team's kicker yet again Week 11.

Impact With Austin Seibert (hip) on injured reserve, Ryan Santoso was promoted from the practice squad for Week 10, but he missed a PAT that would've likely ended the game in regulation, and he missed a potential game-winning 48-yard field goal in overtime. Santoso was released by the Lions on Tuesday, making room for Patterson to join the active roster. Patterson will likely operate as the primary place kicker in Week 11.
