Attempts 49 passes Tannehill completed 30 of 49 pass attempts for 298 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Jets. He also added three rushes for nine yards. Impact Tannehill was consistently under pressure, as he was sacked seven times and hit on 14 occasions. On top of the poor protection, Tannehill was also without both Julio Jones (hamstring) and A.J. Brown (hamstring). Even so, he managed a decent performance, which was based nearly exclusively upon volume as he averaged only 6.1 yards per attempt. Tannehill's lone touchdown came with 16 seconds remaining in the game, and it knotted the score at 24-24. Though his down performance was understandable given the context, Tannehill has now failed to throw for multiple touchdowns in in three of four contests to begin the season.
