Impact Lenoir missed Week 18 after landing on the COVID-19 list last Wednesday, but he's back on the active roster ahead of the start of the playoffs. He saw significant defensive snaps the first three weeks of the season but has otherwise primarily played special teams.

Practice limitations to continue Coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that the 49ers will continue to manage Mitchell's (knee) reps on the practice field this week, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Impact Mitchell has been bothered by a knee injury since also picking up a concussion during a Week 13 loss at Seattle. He subsequently missed the next three games, but he's been active for the past two outings, logging at least 50 percent of snaps on both occasions en route to a combined 44 touches for 215 yards from scrimmage and one receiving TD. Last week, Mitchell followed up a DNP on Wednesday with a limited session Thursday and full practice Friday before being cleared of a designation entirely for San Francisco's eventual Week 18 win at the Rams. At the very least, he appears as if he'll have some practice limitations ahead of Sunday's wild-card game in Dallas.

Practice regimen to remain same Garoppolo (thumb) will follow a similar practice plan in advance of Sunday's wild-card game at Dallas as he did during Week 18 prep, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Coach Kyle Shanahan told Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area on Monday that the 49ers will have half-speed sessions Wednesday and Friday with a full practice Thursday, as they've been operating under for awhile. If Garoppolo has a similar regimen to last week, he'll be limited in all three as he continues to deal with a sprained right thumb. The issue didn't make an impact in the box score during Sunday's overtime win at the Rams, with the quarterback completing 23 of 32 passes for 316 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions while playing all 70 offensive snaps. Shanahan added that Garoppolo came out of the game fine on the health front, so he shouldn't have a problem being able to play this coming weekend.

Impact Hasty served his usual third-down role with Elijah Mitchell (21-85-0) running at full strength. The 24-year-old stuck in his return/utility role on offense for the entirety of the 2021 campaign, finishing with 225 yards and a touchdown on 39 combined offensive touches across 11 active games. He will continue to spell Mitchell in the playoffs, but he won't be fantasy-relevant unless something catastrophic happens to the 49ers' backfield. Hasty should stick in San Francisco in 2022 given his familiarity with the offense and the low cost to keep him as an exclusive-rights free agent.

Impact Elijah Mitchell (knee) was cleared of injury designation heading into the matchup, leaving Wilson in a reserve role with JaMycal Hasty handling third-down duties. The veteran tailback finishes the 2021 regular season with 294 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 79 carries (3.7 YPC), most of which came during a three-week stretch where Wilson filled in for an injured Mitchell. The 25-year-old has worked hard to earn a solid four-year run with the 49ers after going undrafted in 2018, but this appears to be a transition year for San Francisco's backfield, so Wilson may find himself in another uniform as he enters free agency this upcoming offseason.
