Heading to Seattle Mannion signed a contract with the Seahawks on Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Impact Mannion spent last season in Minnesota and completed 12 of 21 passes for 126 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions in three games. He'll join Geno Smith, Alex McGough and Danny Etling as Seattle's quarterbacks behind starter Russell Wilson.

Impact Mannion spent another year acting as Kirk Cousins' backup, but despite being active for all 16 games the 28-year-old didn't take a snap under center. An unrestricted free agent in the offseason, Mannion likely will have a similar fate if he's on a roster.
