Impact Smith has dealt with a foot injury that forced him to sit out two of the final three regular-season games, including the regular-season finale against Atlanta. However, he should be ready to retain his starting left tackle spot heading into Monday's wild-card matchup versus the Cowboys. Smith's availability will be a big boost for Tampa Bay's injury-riddled starting offensive line, as center Robert Hainsey (hamstring) and left guard Nick Leverett (knee/shoulder) were both limited during practice Wednesday.

Mike Evans (illness) also was a full participant to begin prep for the wild-card round, so Jones will be the Buccaneers' third wide receiver, at best, behind Evans and Chris Godwin.

Impact After hauling in 10 of 12 targets for 207 yards and three touchdowns to help the Buccaneers clinch the NFC South with a win against the Panthers in Week 17, Evans didn't log a snap before being ruled out due to an illness this past Sunday in Atlanta. With the benefit of three days to rest and recover, though, he managed to log every rep during Tampa Bay's first practice in advance of Monday's wild-card game against the Cowboys. Anthony Chesley - Heads to IR Chesley (hamstring) has landed on the Buccaneers' injured reserve ahead of Monday's wild-card matchup against the Cowboys, Scott Smith of the team's official website reports.

Impact Chesley aggravated a hamstring injury late in Tampa Bay's Week 18 loss to the Falcons. He spent the first 14 weeks of the regular season primarily as a practice squad member before getting promoted to the active roster on Dec. 14. He will now set his sight on getting healthy for the 2023 season.

Cameron Brate - Not targeted in loss Brate failed to record a single target in Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Falcons.

Impact Brate played the most offensive snaps of any Buccaneers tight end Sunday, but he was a complete nonfactor in the contest. The veteran's 49 percent snap percentage was his highest since Week 12. Brate has just not been a major part of Tampa Bay's offensive game plan this season, as rookie Cade Otton has emerged as the top pass-catching option at tight end. Winfield finished the 2022 regular season with another diversified stat line consisting of 80 tackles, four sacks, three defensed passes, including one interception, and a forced fumble over 13 games. He'll be in line to play a substantial role in next Monday night's wild-card clash versus the Cowboys, against which Winfield recorded six stops and an interception back in a Week 1 win.
