Impact Jones has missed three consecutive games, but it appears that he's been gradually ramping up his practice activity and could still have a chance to play Thursday. With Russell Gage (hamstring) already ruled out, it would be significant if the Buccaneers can get Jones back on the field behind Mike Evans (knee) and Chris Godwin. The final word on Jones' status may not come until inactives are released ahead of Thursday's 8:15 p.m. kickoff.

Impact Davis will miss a second straight contest due to a hip injury. Impact Senat made very good use of his brief time on the field -- 12 snaps -- by posting his second-highest tackle total of the season thus far. The fourth-year pro is filling his rotational tackle role well, but his opportunities are likely to remain capped at about 20 snaps per game as long as Vita Vea and Rakeem Nunez-Roches are healthy in front of him.

The talented linebacker is also an integral part of a defense that has become surprisingly vulnerable to the run, a foreboding weakness with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens' ground attack paying a visit for a Thursday night Week 8 battle.

There's no telling when the tight end will gain clearance to return to action, but he seems in danger of logging a third DNP in four games. If he's unable to play Thursday versus the Ravens, Brate will yield reps at the position to Cade Otton, Kyle Rudolph and potentially Ko Kieft (ankle), the latter of whom was listed as limited on Tuesday's practice report after logging no activity Monday.
